Can we arrange an appointment to view Inglewood House? - We would be delighted to show you round Inglewood House and discuss your special day. To arrange an appointment, please contact us on 01259 216156 and press option 1.

What deposit do I have to pay when I confirm a date? - A non-refundable deposit of £1,000 is required to reserve the date of your wedding. Six months prior to your wedding a further £1,000 non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance (to include all catering, drinks deposit and any bedrooms) of the anticipated charges shall be settled 30 days prior to the wedding.

Ceremony

Which room would we have our Wedding Ceremony in? - One of the fantastic features of Inglewood House is that there are a number of great options for your wedding ceremony. You can get married in the Inglenook Room, Great Hall, Conservatory or the Ballroom.

How many guests can we invite for a Wedding Ceremony? - This will depend on which room you choose to get married in.

The Great Hall – up to 130 people
The Inglenook room – up to 65 people.
The Conservatory- up to 60 people
The Ballroom – up to 150 people

Do we have to book the registrar separately? - Yes, it is a legal requirement that you contact the Registrar separately and ensure they are available to conduct a Civil wedding Ceremony on the date you have chosen. It is best to do this before you confirm your date with Inglewood House. We will give you the contact details of the local registrar when you come for a show-round.

Information

What is the maximum number of guests we can have for the Wedding Breakfast? - We can cater for 40 in the Inglenook Room, 70 in the Great Hall and 130 in the Ballroom on round tables for a sit down meal and 150 on banqueting tables.

What time can we arrive at Inglewood on our wedding Day? - Exclusive hire of your rooms starts at 1pm. We normally recommend that the bride arrives in the morning with whoever she is getting ready with in order to make best use of the bridal dressing room (if hired) and the groom and guests arrive from 12.30pm.

Can we drop anything off the day before our wedding? - Yes, you can drop off table plans, name cards, favours, etc the day before your wedding.

Do you allow children at Inglewood House? - Yes, children are very much welcomed but we do ask that they are supervised at all times.

Do you have any high chairs we can use? - Yes, we have high chairs which you are welcome to use. Please can you notify us in advance if you require use of a high chair.

Food & Drink

Can we bring our own caterers in? - It is essential that we offer a consistently high standard of catering and therefore only offer our own team of chefs, who can offer a variety of menus for all tastes and budgets.

Can we have a menu tasting session? - We can offer a tasting session with our chef for the bride and groom. We can arrange menu tasting dates with you once you have confirmed your booking.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements? - Yes, as long as we know in advance we can cater for most dietary needs.

What age do you classify as a child? - Anyone aged 12 and under is classified as a child.

Can we bring our own wine in? - Wine, sparkling wine or champagne can be brought in, however, we do charge corkage per bottle.
